MARTIN OSTERMANN, BSc - Consultant

Born in Germany, Martin lived and worked in the United States for eight years before moving to the UAE in 2006. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Houston’s Conrad. N. Hilton College and an Associate Degree in Real Estate form the North Harris Community College in Houston, Texas.

Martin has ten years of operational experience in the hospitality industry and has worked with Four Seasons, Hilton, Marriott, Small Luxury Hotels and Best Western. Following his career in hotel operations, Martin gained experience a business and financial adviser with PKF Hospitality Consulting and Capital Markets Group in Houston, Texas. He performed hotel appraisals and valuations, developed brokerage packages, conducted market studies and feasibility analyses and provided asset management and litigation support for hotels, resorts, mixed-use developments, marinas and golf courses.

Prior to joining PKF The Consulting House in Dubai, Martin worked as an internal business adviser to an international IT company in Dubai where he was a significant asset to the development of a strategic hospitality business praxis and service offering.

At PKF Dubai, Martin has conducted market and financial feasibility analysis and highest and best land use studies and has been involved in the development management of several single and mixed use projects in the UAE and GCC where he was instrumental in driving the project planning, financial modelling and procurement areas.
