BENJAMIN OPPL, MA BSc - Consultant

Born in Germany, Ben has widespread global educational and operational experience. He has graduated from the International University of Applied Sciences in Bonn-Bad Honnef, Germany with a Masters in Tourism Management. Additionally he holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Victoria University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.  His initial start to a hotel operations career was the completion of a three year dual apprenticeship for hotel management with Hilton in Duesseldorf, Germany.

Ben has been further involved in the hospitality industry working for Novotel and Holiday Inn in Australia and the United States. He is also experienced in tour operator product management having worked with the upmarket Airtours branch of TUI in Frankfurt, Germany.  To round off his guest life cycle expertise, Ben also worked with the destination management company Phuket Jet Tour, Ltd. in Phuket, Thailand.       

Since joining PKF, Ben has been involved in several Highest & Best Land Use and Market & Financial Feasibility studies for various clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Egypt. He has further assessed the viability of two proposed Integrated Tourism Complexes in Montenegro and the Seychelles and developed best use concepts and positioning strategies for the same.

Ben has also worked on a Strategic Advisory assignment (Corporate) for a Real Estate Development Company in Dubai, UAE.
