RISHIKESH ELKUNCHWAR, BSc, MBA - Consultant

Rishikesh has obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from IHM, Mumbai, India.  In addition, he earned an MBA degree from Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland which is a joint degree with Endicott College, Boston USA.

Prior to working in the region, Rishikesh has worked with renowned hotel companies such as Le Meridien, Taj Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn and JW Marriott in India. When moving to the Middle East several years ago, Rishikesh was part of the opening team for Shangri-la’s Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, Muscat, Oman. Once operational, he was asked to join the opening team of the Shangri-la Hotel Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, UAE. In both hotels he was involved in pre-opening over 15 F&B outlets in four hotels and achieving various awards for the same.

Rishikesh joined PKF The Consulting House in early 2008 and has been highly involved in market research, financial modelling and analysis work where he contributed significantly to developing the company’s tools and methods.

He has been involved in Highest and Best Land Use Studies, Market and Financial Feasibility Studies, Corporate Strategy Assignments, Financial Planning, Operator Selection and creation of Business Plans.  His project work took place across very diverse markets including, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dubai, Kazakhstan, Montenegro, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Seychelles.
