ANDREAS BRAEUER, Dip Mgmt (Henley) - Associate Director

Born in Salzburg in 1966, Andreas graduated from the Hotel & Tourism Management College in Salzburg, Austria in 1989.  He joined Inter-Continental Hotels & Resorts and was elected for the company’s Corporate Management Training & Development Programme.  In 1999, he earned the post-graduate Diploma in Management from Henley Management College in England.

Having worked for over a decade with Inter-Continental Hotels & Resorts, Andreas has gained operational management experience in the areas of Purchasing, Food & Beverage, Rooms Division, Training, Business Development as well as Revenue Management in key properties of the company in Luxemburg, Berlin, London, Paris, Hamburg and Hong Kong.

From 2001, he had management responsibility as Resident Manager for the leading hotels group in Dubrovnik / Croatia, and held corporate positions as Revenue Manager and Corporate Director of Sales for the largest hotel & resort management group in Croatia, Valamar Hotels & Resorts.

Before joining PKF-TCH, Andreas worked as Senior Consultant for the leading Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure consulting company in the region of South East Europe, Horwath HTL Zagreb.  Projects and assignments included Market Studies, (Pre-) Feasibility Studies, Strategic Planning, Asset Management Planning, Best-Use Concepts, as well as the delivery of a seminar series for Executive Hotel Marketing.  Key qualifications and core competencies comprise:

On a part-time base, Andreas also taught a course in Tourism Planning & Development at the American College of Management and Technology (Rochester Institute of Technology) in Dubrovnik.  He was further a member and Chairman of the Advisory Board at the American College from 2003-2007 and is a Member of the Institute of Hospitality.

As Associate Director of PKF-TCH, Andreas is mainly responsible for Business Development, Project Planning & Execution as well as Key Account Management and is actively involved in all major client projects as either Project Manager or Senior Advisor.
